Wonderfully located right inside the historical city of Valencia. The Caro hotel's decor is ultra-modern and it is furnished in similar style. Service was excellent and everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was really great with a very good choice of hot and cold items - the hot items to order rather than congealing on a buffet container. Our attic bedroom, with its massive old roof beams and huge circular bath, was wonderful although, as is often the case with modern boutique hotels, it did suffer a little from accentuating form over function. For example, there was no comfortable, well-lit surface with a mirror behind for my wife to make up at, etc., and the full length mirror behind a wardrobe door was darkened and in an area which was particularly poorly lit! You had to be careful, too, not to knock your head on some of the beams' lower sections! Overall, the hotel was marvellous and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others for its location, staff, accommodation and food.
Warm welcome fom the reception staff and excellent city centre location. The first night was in an "annexed" style room on the first floor by the internal garden and was too noisy, close to the kitchen and timber decking outside accentuated all noise further. We asked to be moved to a higher floor and had a lovely room on the 3rd floor which was perfect. Breakfast was excellent and all other aspects of our stay was most enjoyable.
"Good hotel, excellent location for historic centre"
Hotel was perfectly located close to historic market, key sites and shopping as well as tapas bars situated to the north. The hotel is modern, well kept, very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. Positioned in a neighbourhood which was a bit rough around the edges with disused old buildings (ripe for development). We saw a couple of prostitutes on nearby street corners but we didn't feel unsafe when returning late at night. Students and artists have started to populate this area.
A well located modern hotel for business or tourism with high standards.
Friendly efficient reception. Comfortable well appointed quiet room.
Excellent buffet breakfast supervised by a particularly good manager with cheerful support staff.
Good value for money.
In Valencia on business for 4 days, and the Vincci Palace could not have been a better choice. The location was perfect, in walking distance to a wealth of restaurants and in the old and very charming sector of the city. The staff were super friendly, smart and accommodating. Room was very modern, comfortable and clean.
Located in a quiet location on a plaza with some great restaurants. Only a few minutes walk from Hop on Hop off bus and 10 minutes from large shopping area. Lovely hotel and comfortable room. We stayed in a superior room, which has a connecting door to another suite and we could therefore hear our neighbors using their bathroom etc. Their is a door from the "entrance hall" that closes the bedroom off, but the bathroom is open to the entrance hall. The water pressure in the shower is very low.
Hotel Dimar is very well located for access to many of the sights of Valencia and a 5 minute walk to Colon metro station which connects with most lines. the surrounding neighbourhood is well-served for restaurants, bars and shops. Staff are friendly and efficient.
