"The property was great, including the rooms. We booked a private pool which made the stay perfect for our honeymoon. Also the hotel gave us free massages as gifts. The service and staff were also very nice and helpful. However food wasn’t so great. A lot of thematic restaurants but the execution of the dishes were very poor and not what you expected when you see the menus. The most decent restaurant was the mexican."

"The property was extremely large and quiet. There were no evening activities on the adult size. It would have been nice to have some evening events for the adults a couple of nights. Many of the restaurants were closed or only open a day or 2. I understand there may not be the demand for opening every night, however it would have been nice to have them open a couple times per week. The staff was great."

"My husband and I stayed at Live Aqua DR from Aug. 31st - Sept 5th. A few years ago, we stayed at the Live Aqua in Cancun and love it. PROS *Daniel, our butler was so kind, helpful and accessible. Several times a day, he touched base with me (via WhatsApp) to ensure we were enjoying our stay *Entire resort team did an amazing job to make our 21st wedding anniversary celebration memorable *Plenty of food options *Swim up room was a special *Nightlife was on point *Resort is beautiful. CONS The beach has been taken over by seaweed, but that is out of Live Aqua's control."

"Everything about this resort was top notch! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with cold towels & champagne by the sweetest staff. Our room was spacious and beautiful. We stayed Preferred and our butler Ray was incredible! He really made our stay even more special. For an all inclusive the food was good, and drinks were great, especially at the preferred pool & preferred bar lounge. Weather was fabulous and we fell in love with the Dominican Republic. Can’t wait to come back!"
