We found this hotel on the off chance and so glad we did. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and tidy.

The staff service was exceptional at this hotel, the friendly and attentiveness of the employees really made this a wonderful break away. The room was ideal in a pet friendly room it was not luxurious but adequate and suited our visit. The food was wonderful and we felt treated from arriving to departure. I would recommend this hotel it can not be faltering delivery.

Great hotel close to the hall if you’re staying for an event. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Nice touch being allowed late check out as no one else was booked in the room that day. Would stay again

Booked for a couple of nights while visiting alton towers and found the place superb value. Food in restaurant good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Also didn't add breakfast at the time of booking and when we asked to add for the 2 days when checking in the receptionist added for no extra charge. Would definitely and will be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.

We booked this hotel due to its location to Donington Circuit. The location was perfect, the circuit being about 10 minutes drive away (maximum). The owners were lovely and very friendly, Beverley helped us find somewhere to eat on a Sunday when everywhere else was closed or had finished serving. Although the hotel is on the main road, the small town of Melbourne is quiet and the road isn't busy - even on a bank holiday weekend. Absolutely lovely stay! The room was very nice and had everything we needed, there was plenty of tea/coffee and hot chocolate which was good! The garden and surroundings were beautiful and the breakfast was amazing!!!

Only stayed for one night on way home, wished was longer. Fabulous hotel in a lovely setting that would be a perfect base for local attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful, room great with gorgeous view and breakfast excellent. Arrived late but squeezed in a drink at bar...food menu looked good.
