Stargazer tent was great, but take the provided eye masks to bed with you if you have a full moon. If staying during the winter, I suggest setting up the fire the previous night and setting your alarm for 45mins prior to whenever you want to get up, lighting it and jumping back into bed so that when you get up the tent is toasty warm. This is an outstanding hotel. The drive to gateway from Uravan is simply breathtaking and the hotel is well sign posted and easy to find. The complex is quite large with splendid gardens overloooking some impressive rock formations. From the moment we arrived we felt immediately relaxed. A no frills place to stay , staff very welcoming and Breakfast’s were fab . Had a evening meal which was nice but very overpriced i thought , perhaps thats just my opinion because the place is always busy !! Room was very clean , bed was ok but felt like i was rolling into the middle , one negative was all the Hunting pictures on the wall , we had 5 in our room and one in the bathroom . Other than that a nice stay .
