"My only challenge was difficulty understanding the staff who spoke with heavy accent (India) And both staff I interacted with said they were new so my request for a recept when paying for my room took a little while. Not a big deal but communication was the challenge."

"We took our teenage grandkids to FanX, then stayed overnight at Doubletree in downtown Salt Lake. We loved everything about our stay. The room was spacious and quiet, the king bed was comfortable. Even the pullout bed was pretty good. They brought the kids extra down comforters and pillows when we asked for an extra blanket. The breakfast was outstanding, with lots of choices for everyone. And the price was decent. We immediately decided we’re coming back for our anniversary next year."

"The hotel was beautiful and all the staff were very nice and helpful.I especially loved how close this hotel was to the Salt Lake City street car stations. I took the street cars to several locations, including the airport. Even though I didn’t stay at the hotel across the street, which is the sister hotel to this one I wound up eating there instead of this hotel. It was convenient to walk there so as it’s just right across the street."

"I didn't have any shampoo in my room and I inquired about it twice, thinking that they would take some sort of initiative to take to my room but fell on deaf ears. It's the little things that count. Other than that the hotel was surprisingly clean and updated."
