A beautiful hotel set on an estate, which has a family history of being run as far back as grandparents of current owner. There is a genuine wish on the part of the owner to ensure any problems you have, are resolved. He did that for us on this visit. The hotel has so much character and is very comfortable

Stayed a couple of nights whilst attending a local event, I just slept and had breakfast at the hotel then I was out for the day & evening. The hotel is in a very rural setting, peaceful & quiet but also only a few km from the motorway and nearby town with all the necessary amenities. I was delayed at the airport so a quick phone call to the hotel ensured that arrangements were made to have my key available for when I arrived, that was a helpful touch. We stayed for one night only. Very tidy, very friendly. Good underground car park and very modern rooms with excellent use of space and USB ports for charging leads. Very close to Friedrichshafen centre for restaurants and cafe's, etc as well as walls along the lake. Very ideal is the bus exchange just outside the hotel door - we were able to get a bus straight to the Messe to see the vintage car show. Hotel-Gasthof Storchen was a great base for our trip to the area. Great welcome, friendly hosts. Rooms spotless and restaurant and breakfast food great with a wide choice. We will be back.

Warm welcome, friendly English speaking staff. Room was above expectation for the price. Seemed new. Sunday service was booked out at the restaurant which is a good sign. But it's a long way to anything else if you don't drive. Included breakfast was good quality buffet. Dedicated garage for bikes. Excellent location amongst the low southern slopes of the Schwarzwald.

Smashing place. Such friendly staff. A short walk from the station - easy to drag suitcases. Good sized rooms. Received a voucher for a free drink each at their partner hotel in the next road. The bells were in evidence from the local churches - but it was Saturday evening. Not nearly as bad a noise as i was expecting from other reviews. Didn't ring through the night! Plentiful breakfast.
