We have just had an extraordinary week at The Oyster Box hotel. Beautiful location, marvellous decor and incredible service. We will be back.

The property has walking access to the gateway shopping mall, a great bonus with exclusive shops and places to eat. Parking is also available. The rooms are modern and clean

This was a really excellent hotel where the staff could not have been more helpful or have done more for us. Our room was enormous and perfectly clean and tidy. The options at breakfast were vast and we definitely got value for money there!

Location location location! Just amazing! Lucky enough to stay there in July so saw whales and dolphins most mornings whilst enjoying breakfast. Lovely food, incredible staff, comfy rooms. Stay on the top floor if budget allows.

We were in Durban for a junior tennis competition. So there were a few of us staying at the hotel. I had read the reviews about staff friendliness; but I suspected that they might be slightly untrue, given that the reviews were always so good. Oh my god - the staff are amazing. I was very happy with my stay. The room was spacious and cleaned every day. The food good and staff were extremely friendly and helpful

The Hotel Staff greet you with a smile, are welcoming and helpful. There was a variety of food on the menu and the food is delicious with attentive service from the Waiters and Waitresses. My room was well cared for and I was grateful for the upgrade. I really appreciated the sea view.
