"This cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The location was great for visiting Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Fishtown and more. Our teens who love to fish spent hours in the kayaks on the lake bass fishing. We rented a pontoon on Long Lake one day too (so close). The kitchen had everything we needed for meals at house and we used the grill several times. The hosts were easy to reach if needed. Would highly recommend. One tip: bring your own drinking water. "

"Beautiful house with all the amenities you could think of. My family and I had a wonderful time and created lasting memories. The house was spotless and welcoming. The fireplace did stop working and it was fixed immediately. I had constant access to the company and tbey replied to my questions promptly. I cant say enough about this rental! Its only 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City and the beach. I absolutely recommend and I am planning to stay here next year. Thank you so much for checking off one of the adventures on my bucket list. "

"Incredible week of the beauty living on a small lake. Spectacular views of nature, the smell of fresh water and the serenity of peaceful songs of frogs, birds and jumping fish. Different places on the property are all stunning! From the Lilly pads of a hidden swamp to a short beautiful walk to a secret dock. Don’t forget your Mosquito spray! It’s so worth the little pests! We grew up in Traverse City, never thought much of Bass Lake, but went to #1 in my book! Thank you so much!"

"The cabin and property were a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Beautiful lakefront setting. The cabin is stocked with everything you might possibly need for the kitchen, etc. The artwork and photography around the house were very interesting and appreciated. Nice touch. Overall great time."
