Exactly what your expect from a motel at a reasonable price. Full size fridge and streaming capabilities on the tv were unexpected perks. Will definitely stay again!

Responsive to my complaints about a (stale) smoke smell in my room. Unfortunately it wasn't until I checked out that they worked on it. Honestly though they shouldn't have rented out the room in that condition! Even when I initially brought it to the manager's attention he played dumb with me. He said he didn't smell it. I know stale smoke when I smell it, his attititude really pissed me off. Another thing I didn't like was the amount of bugs I saw, I didn't like the way Bob (the manager)dismissed it, saying they were common to the area because of being off the lake. That's a poor excuse if you ask me, I didn't experience that anyplace else I stayed at. Also the breakfast was on the cheesy side, minimal offerings, some miniature muffins and that was about it. I went somewhere else. And lastly the manager gave me a key for an already occupied room. Thank God nobody was home. That was really a shock. Really poor customer service if you ask me. Lastly the manager Bob did offer me a refund but by then it was too late (after 9pm) and I was too exhausted. Finally, there's no grab bar with the bathtub, there's nothing to hold onto making it extremely difficult to enter and sit down in. About the only positive thing I can say is the complimentary soaps they offer are out of this world.....I had some kind of cherry soap. They come from a store called Great Lakes Bath and Body. I liked it so much I went to the place and ended up buying their champagne lotion. The best!!
