"Townhouse - We had informed we would arrive at 2.0pm and arrived at 1.55pm to be told we were 5 minutes early. We were allowed to sit in the dining room until owners wife arrived home, as the check in clerk thought we had not paid, had to show bank details, booking details, 1 hour later we were shown to our room by owners wife. No fault of Jean or Gordon but booking agents need to show more detail to owners would of avoided delay. We are locals of Cornwall but would of been rather annoyed if we had travelled from far wider. Very nice hotel, great location for city centre and very well laid our continental breakfast. As long as your check in is speedy, please support the owners and this establishment"

"The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much.ch trouble. The food was excellent, a highlight being breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view out to sea. The bedroom was very comfortable with an excellent bathroom as well."

"Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!"
Rural Barn Conversion
10/10 Excellent
"Was surprisingly easily to find. A heads up that the roads surrounding the barn are narrow two way country lanes and the road leading up to the barn is very gravelly. The property was lovely and clean and the atmosphere was great. It’s about a 35 minute drive to St Ives and a 10 minute drive to Tesco Superstore. Would definitely recommend and stay again."
