"We stayed for a week in the villa over Oct half term (4 adults, 2 children), it was lovely and clean, spacious and well equipped for all we needed. Maria kindly got some essentials in for us as we arrived in the evening. Supermarket was a 20min walk away as was the beach, we got a taxi back with the shopping (which only cost €2.5) as we didn’t want to hire a car this time. "Finca El Lomo is a wonderful haven of peace in a noisy world. It is situated in the heart of the island yet only a 15 minute drive from the coastal towns and beaches. The hosts Linda and Hans keep the property in immaculate condition. They are always on hand to help but unobtrusive. A hire car is essential but it is an ideal base to tour the whole island. This place is a rare gem in a world of mass tourism!"

The location is quiet, amongst other villas but 2 restaurants and a mini market (and best bakery on the island) are 5 mins walk. About 5 other restaurants within 10 mins walk, but a fantastic open grill on the oven is great to bbq. "Anyone looking for a holiday villa in the area will not be disappointed with Villa Fin. It was clean, spacious and had good amenities.....the pool with slide was great fun for both adults and kids alike. Further to this, the owner of the property answered all our questions prior to flying out and the local Property Manager was extremely helpful. We had an amazing time staying here and would defiantly rebook if returning to Caleta de Fuste."

"The villa is extremely spacious both inside and out with a great roof terrace with panoramic views, we had an issue with the fridge part of the fridge freezer which was almost as cold as the freezer itself, Our main issue was the location of the villa, very long walk into the main town of Caleta Fuste and villa is on the flight path which we found a bit annoying. Overall still enjoyed our stay there."

"What a wonderful place to get away from it all. The villa is such a clever design set in an extensive gated plot with generous space for parking. Going through the door we were delighted to find a walled courtyard with an outdoor dining set and cushioned bench in the sheltered space around a beautiful cactus garden. 3 doors lead away from the courtyard: one to the living space, 1 to a double bedroom & bathroom and 1 to a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom. "My partner and I stayed for almost four weeks at Gilbert & Lyz's place and had a wonderful time. The property, which was exceptionally clean, is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and when we needed something Lyz was happy to supply it. "Villa is very big, with a separate apartment attached. Huge grounds, absolutely massive garden area, and the pool area is really well maintained and laid out. Tennis courts were a great addition - provided somewhere to run around in before the heat came in the day. All the rooms were big, well maintained, and comfortable. If I came back to the island, I’d stay again. Central location so you can get everywhere pretty easily with a car."
