"The setting was perfect, the description of a woodland retreat was spot on. We loved sitting gazing out at the squirrels playing in the trees and were lucky enough to have them come up to the door and peer in. After leaving out almonds for them we had daily visits.Seagulls Rest was beautifully styled, it felt welcoming and cosy. Thank.you to Tina who was so helpful with our enquiries. We had an amazing stay, and holiday. "

"The bathroom was basic, black mould under shower door, curtains were grubby in living area which had holes in lining light could been seen through them. Ceiling paper was peeling off, main window couldn't be opened only with a block of wood. Carpets weren't clean, stained throughout. Wouldnt stay again. "All the staff were excellent., the position of the hotel is right on the rocks with fantastic sea views all round. Lovely village with nice little shops, bars, pubs and eating places to cater for all tastes."

"The hotel is lovely and I would recommend staying there, breakfast had everything you need. However we were shocked to find that the swimming pool and golf had additional costs and when going down for food Sunday evening the only thing available was Sunday lunch. These things should be made clear. "

"The breakfast was lovely. Freshly cooked, and with a varied menu. The property was clean and well kept, but a little dated. First flight of stairs is accessed by a chairlift, rather than a lift. There are then stairs to negotiate on the first floor, to get to the room. "

"Lovely little cozy apartment that was perfect for our three night stay. Linens were crisp and duvets were fluffy. The staff were all delightful and we loved the sea views. 10/10"

"Whilst the Expedia price on this hotel was lower than the hotels website, the general condition of the room and bar was tired and dated. The shower did not work correctly, room light kept flickering on and off when switched on. It was convenient for a party i was attending but i would not return. "
