"While the outside scenery of the property was beautiful the host was not helpful at all. In addition, I was asked to pay a security deposit amount prior to my visit, which I happily paid. But she kept it unfairly because she said she found a stain in the duvet! I am not sure what stain requires £50 to be washed. Even a new duvet cover doesn’t require £50! "We rented the summerhouse which was clean, welcoming and fairly well equipped. Self catering in such a small space was difficult but we took the view we wanted to experience food at the many restaurants nearby so not a major problem. The location was ideal for getting out and exploring parts of Cornwall we hadn’t seen before as well as being around an hour from the north coast. Ben and Lou were very welcoming and nothing was too much. We would certainly consider going back the next time we visit...

"Lovely place to stay, beach perfect for the dogs and people all very friendly. Accommodation good, could have been much better with a welcome pack! The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected."
