The staff was exceptional. They were responsive, took care of our taxis, dinner reservations, anything we needed. The hotel was spotless and the breakfast was plentiful. I loved this hotel. We aware though that if you wish to walk into the tourist area, you are 25-30 minutes. We did not mind the walk, but some might.

What an amazing place I hope to get back here next year again everybody was super nice. Property was super nice. It is quite relaxing. Great food apparently a great wine as well but I don’t drink. I highly recommend anybody to go.

“We just left Monastero di Cortona and honestly, we did not want to go. There is something about this place that gets under your skin — a 13th-century building that has somehow managed to feel like home the moment you walk in. The history alone is staggering, but what really makes it special is the people.
Alessandro was everywhere — and we mean that in the best possible way. Yes, he is the sommelier, and he is outstanding at it, but he was also there at breakfast, leading the room, making everyone feel looked after. He is not just a wine expert, he is a true host. The kind of person who sets the tone for an entire property.
And Simona — we kept saying she was the best person we encountered the entire trip. Just genuinely warm and present in a way that is hard to find.
