"Arrived to a warm welcome and an offer of a free later checkout. Room (basic, rear facing by chocie) and bathroom all fine and comfortable. Two chairs in the room, which makes a welcome change. Enjoyed a drink in the large and comfy lounge followed by a very good and reasonably priced dinner with excellent service. Breakfast was terrific, full hot and cold buffet plus made-to-order choices as standard. The buidling has many original features and some very old photos of its heyday hidden away down the garden corridor. Only thing missing is a history of the buidling, which I am sure would be very interesting. "
