Beautiful views, warm welcome, exceptional service. Staff could not do enough for you providing helpful guidance on activities in the area. Cannot recommend enough, just a note on parking facilities they are a challenge.

The room was clean and spacious the food was very good.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
This is a great place to chill out but you need to be mobile or have a car.
As we holiday in Port Isaac annually we knew the hotel and its location as we had dined there a number of times.
We were curious about the accommodation and this was a great place to do nothing and spoil ourselves.
We would not hesitate to return.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. We had a sea-view room and it was simply amazing. The bathroom in a family room (which is pretty big) is super tiny. The bathroom is more like a "port-a-potty" size, that you see on airplanes or trains, to be honest. But I can understand that construction of a large bathroom is not feasible in that castle. Breakfast was very mediocre, for 15.50 GBP per person. Food presentation and taste was really mediocre. I would suggest that walk to the...

The lady who runs the b&b was lovely, and so friendly, she gave us all the information we needed when we checked in.
The room was large and spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable.
The bathroom had shampoo & conditioner as well as shower gel & soap.
We paid for our parking at a car park down the road, but the b&b do have a small parking area out the back.
Breakfast had a huge amount to choose from, cooked, cereals, toast, pancakes, pastries , yogurt & fruit.
Hot drinks & fresh...

The owner was just fantastic, so attentive to our needs and the secret way to locate the property, (if you know, you know, it is a genius), the first people and or persons we were introduced to were three stunning horses. (Two of our favourite royals after Kate of course, & My Wife' nickname), we loved the alpacas, the rabbits, the dogs and it was just so picturesque and beautiful. Our whole holiday was just perfect we didn't want to leave. We would love to see the owner again and love that part...

This is a great place to stay, the room we booked was a family room and had a king size and two singles plus a sofa and table in the living area so lots of room. The bathroom had a bath and excellent separate shower.
The staff were really friendly and the pub itself busy with great food at attractive prices.
An excellent cooked breakfast was also included, all for just over £100. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in the old jail, so many of the original features with a modern feel. Breakfast was incredible, best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had and the continental selection was amazing.

The best time to visit Treknow is during the late spring and summer months, particularly from May to September, when the weather is at its most pleasant for exploring the Cornish coast.
During these months, you'll find the warmest temperatures and the most sunshine, making it ideal for coastal walks, beach days, and enjoying the outdoor attractions. This period also sees the longest daylight hours, giving you more time to experience everything Treknow and the surrounding area have to offer.
Families often find July and August particularly appealing, as the sea temperatures are warmer for swimming and there are typically more family-friendly activities available. However, these months are also the busiest, so booking accommodation and popular attractions well in advance is advisable.
For couples seeking a slightly quieter experience with pleasant weather, May, June, and September are excellent choices. The crowds are typically smaller than in the peak summer, but the weather remains conducive to enjoying the stunning coastal paths and local eateries without the full bustle.
