"An excellent value for money caravan. It was our first family stay in a caravan site - and it did not disappoint. The caravan was well appointed with most things you'll need for cooking and living including free wifi and freeview tv. We needed to buy soap, and glad we'd bought beach towels as only hand towels were provided. Quality cooking equipment made cooking meals easy. "The lodge rooms are superbly quiet with absolutely no road noise although friends staying in the main hotel were disturbed by traffic noise. Lodges are freshly decorated with great bathrooms and excellent daily housekeeping The continental breakfast had a good selection of fruit and yoghurt. The hot food was cooked to order which I much prefer to buffets. The full Welsh breakfast was quite a meagre portion with poor quality sausage, although the other choices such as poached eggs on brioche and cheese omelette with bacon were wonderful. The breakfast staff were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way provided a special order of porridge for a friend with an upset stomach. Overall this is probably the best option if you want a quiet stay and ample free parking on the edge of town within in a very short walking distance of the main busy areas of shops, pubs and restaurants. I didn’t try the hotel restaurant."
