A comfortable and clean room (but noisy plumbing) in nice surroundings. Excellent food and friendly staff. The hotel really should notify guests of noisy private functions at the time of booking and accomodate those requiring a quiet room with a quiet room.

We had an overnight stay at Lees Hotel. The room was comfortable for 4 persons providing enough space and a balcony where we ate our dinner. The hotel staff is very helpful and made us feel comfortable! We had a great experience in this iconic building!

Recently renovated, presentation is excellent. Room was small and nowhere for suitcases to be placed. Bathroom is good except for the vanity unit, stylish but not practical. No restaurant although advertised.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with nice views. The staff were friendly and helpful. It had a pool which was great for the kids.

Room was comfortable however view from window looked like a war zone while undergoing renovations. Pool area completely gone due to Reno. Will be nice when done but should be on website or emailed that no amenities.

Very happy with The Quest Townsville, close walking distance to restaurants, Fantasea ferry and the City. Pleasant view of moored boats and lovely pool area from balcony.

Warm welcome by staff who took us out and pointed out where the facilities were. Received an upgrade and, although our unit was not serviced (which we knew), were told if we wanted any more supplies just to ask. Furnishings were top class and having a balcony was just another added bonus. Right from the beginning we went into 'relax mood' Being right at the Ferry Terminal is just so convenient. Breakfast offerings were superb and great service with ordering poached eggs. The dinner service was slow but heck... we were meant to be switched off. Food was good.

Staff were very friendly when we arrived - happy to help with our questions about the area. Location was easy to find. The car park a little tight but we managed. Simple breakfast included in the morning was sufficient. Overall, we would be happy to stay here again in the future. Thanks :)

Nice view looking across the water to Magnetic Island. Having a drink on the balcony watching people walk and run along the Strand.
