"Hotel had only 25 to 30 guests out of a capacity of 200 plus. Potentially a lovely place- near good walks and beach, nice grounds and rooms and good gym. But..... The spa which they are still advertising is unusuable €26 to play tennis !! The only vegetarian option at dinner, mushroom ravioli, contained meat ! No vegetarian option at all on 2nd night so we had to eat pasta and tomato sauce Laura was the only saviour as she put on a yoga class and tried to enthuse the small number of guests....

Top Toto Hotel Reviews

Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and liked it all. Will stay there again. Breakfast was included and the buffet had a great selection for all tastes. The room was very spacious, comfortable and, with a nice view of the ocean."

Aparthotel la Piramide

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice complex it is basic but fantastic value for money to what is offered elsewhere in calleta, my only criticism is no fans in the room however the reception did purchase one newly for me and I was extremely grateful. Will stay again."

Hotel Esmeralda Maris by LIVVO

8/10 Good

"Great hotel choice for those that are looking for more privacy and quiet. There's only one small pool with no bar, no all inclusive, so ideal for us we just wanted some peace. Staff are very nice, rooms are spacious with everything you need for self catering if that's your go to, although the half board was quite convenient for what it ormffered. Good variety but not so good as 2 years ago I've been here. Didn't use the spa but remember it being very nice last time. Ideal location as it's the end of a smaller resort town and beautiful beaches short walk down from hotel. Cute cats come for visit and there's a cat house by the beach, they are well looked after."

H10 Playa Esmeralda - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"Very good. Much nicer rooms than expected. Felt like on check in we weren’t told some information like restaurant closing days and pool towels but generally very good"

Hotel Ereza Mar- Adults Only

8/10 Good

"Room was good, junior suite had added bonus of sun loungers on the balcony. Lunch was generally best meal of day, breakfast ok, but evening meals seemed a bit poorer as per other comments. That said, we always found something to eat and never left hungry."

Hotel LIVVO Risco del Gato Suites

10/10 Excellent

"Staff was fantadtic and our bungalow/pod was spacious, clean and funky. "

Kn Hotel Matas Blancas - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"Everyone was spot on, food good, rooms clean, lack of kettle in room, unless rent."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Toto?

The best area to stay in Toto is the bustling resort of Playa Paraíso, known for its modern amenities and sea views.Playa Paraíso is a purpose-built resort town along the coast, offering a range of hotels, restaurants, and shops. It's characterised by its promenade that runs along the seafront, providing easy access to several coves and small beaches. Many establishments here offer stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighbouring island of La Gomera. For couples, Playa Paraíso provides a sophisticated setting. You'll find a good selection of quality restaurants for evening meals and stylish bars for a relaxed drink. The area is well-connected for exploring other parts of the island, and many hotels offer high-end fitness equipment and spa facilities for a comfortable stay.Families will also find Playa Paraíso convenient due to the availability of hotels with larger rooms and child-friendly facilities. The calmer coves are suitable for swimming, and the promenade offers a pleasant, flat surface for buggies or a gentle stroll after dinner.

When is the best time to go to Toto?

The best time to visit Toto, Canary Islands, is during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October). These months offer a pleasant balance of warm weather, fewer crowds, and generally more favourable prices for flights and accommodation.During spring, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 20°C to 25°C, with plenty of sunshine. This is an excellent time for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the island's natural beauty without the intense summer heat. The island's flora is also in full bloom, adding to the scenic appeal.Autumn provides similarly agreeable weather conditions, with temperatures often lingering around 23°C to 28°C. The sea remains warm enough for swimming and water sports well into October. This period is ideal for couples seeking a relaxed getaway before the peak winter tourist season truly begins. While Toto enjoys a mild climate year-round, the summer months (June to August) can be very hot and crowded, particularly with families on school holidays.
