"This was our second visit to the Seven Stars. The staff have always been very friendly and approachable. The hotel is ideally positioned in the town, it’s dog friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable. We will undoubtedly return at a later date."

"Nice central location. Hôtel is a stately structure and is in places looking a little tired. A great choice of food for breakfast but you may find quite suitable options for less cost in the close neighbourhood. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I would be happy to stay here again."

"Exterior of the hotel a bit shabby but made up for when you enter the lobby. You can see how in years gone by this was the place to stay. Still has charm, chandeliers, colourful glass roof and huge spiral staircase. Staff were great. Proper white shirts and black waistcoat uniforms. At meal times they were everywhere. Plenty of choices at breakfast. Room had plenty of storage, bathroom was clean, bed was comfy. We had a sea view room with sliding door onto a patio with sunbeds, worth paying the extra for the sea view room."
