Lovely hotel is a very authentic Spanish village.
This little hotel is a gem in Torrox pueblo. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and the food in the restaurant is marvellous as is the ambience. Beautiful Mountain views from the restaurant and a little balcony in the family suite. The traditional village is also located close to the Costa and a short drive from Nerja, Frigliana and Competa which are all worth a visit.

Lovely hotel, with fantasic views.
This is a small family run hotel in a beautiful mountain village. Our room had a beautiful view over the valley towards the mountains. This is the same view thst you get from the terrace which was a very nice place to have an evening drink. I would definitely recommend La Casa if you are staying in the area.

A lovely property with good facilities with a view to behold. Neil’s a great host. Lots of good eating all around the area. Couldn’t be more central 50m from the square just far enough away.

Quaint hotel in Torrox
We loved this hotel! Excellent accommodations and the service is wonderful as well. We felt as though we were staying at a relative's house. The owners are lovely people and really go it if their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We also loved eating at their restaurant - the food is superb! We will definitely return.

Everything about this B&B is first class: service by the owners, design of the rooms, view from the terrace, location (1 minute walk to the town's main square). I can't imagine why anyone would stay somewhere else in Torrox.

Superb hotel in a lovely location.
We had a very good stay at this hotel. The staff were always very helpful and the hotel was great. It was modern, fresh and clean without being fussy. The staff made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They were accommodating and had a easy and relaxed attitude. It had 'home from home' feel about it. They had got it just right. The food at the restaurant was excellent and we wanted to eat there every evening! I loved our stay there and look forward to our return.

Very enjoyable stay. Lived up to our expectations. One small thing - could do with tea making facility in room to save having to climb stairs for same. (Kettle, teabags, dried milk + sugar would be a great bonus).

Torrox revisited did not disappoint.
We had stayed here three years ago and had such a lovely time we came back (very unusual for us!). Torrox village has a very unspoiled, authentic atmosphere. Lovely little whitewashed streets, many more locals than tourists. On both of our visits musical entertainments in the town square were genuine local community festivals and not pitched at tourists at all. Despite this 'other world' feel Torrox is actually incredibly easy to get to from Malaga airport and the fantastic road system means other great places to visit such as Cordoba and Granada are very much in reach as day trips, while the amazing mountain village of Competa is only up the road (a very winding road). Add to that the Torrox Costa which is 5 - 10 minutes by car, a popular holiday destination with all the usual beach attractions on one side of the delightful long 'paseo' we loved to walk along and endless cafes and restaurants on the other. The great majority of holiday makers here are Spanish and the whole place has a totally family friendly feel with no noisy nightclubs. Grannies and toddlers mingling with all ages after midnight in a completely relaxed, safe atmosphere. It suits us perfectly. Eating out very cheap compared to UK.

A lovely gem
The hotel was spotlessly clean with good air conditioning in the room and a large picture window which offered a beautiful view across the hillside. Upstairs guests can make use of a large communal sun terrace, again with gorgeous views and an honesty bar where you run a tab for your room which you pay on departure. No tea & coffee making facilities are provided in the rooms, but they are available as an extra from the honesty bar area, or from the restaurants at the Piazza which is very close by. Breakfast is available at an extra cost, but we chose to eat elsewhere, so can't comment on that. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. We were there before the summer school holidays and the other guests were all couples at that time. The hotel is located very close to the piazza which was ringed by a selection of restaurants one of which is La Casa (run by the hotel) it was very good and we enjoyed a lunch and a dinner there during our stay. There is a bus which runs to Torrox Costa frequently each day and we spent an enjoyable day on the sunbeds by the sea and swimming in the sea which quickly slopes away and is deep within a few feet of the waters edge. The prices are very reasonable and we felt we got good value for money everywhere we went in the area. We both felt we'd like to go back.

Beautiful hillside setting, wonderful kind, helpful and welcoming hosts...thank you Karen, Sarah and Neil for making us feel at home. Lovely real Spanish town with lively plaza at night offering everything a tourist might want within two minute walk of hotel.

Lovely place off the beaten track.
This is a lovely little place run by an English family, set in the mountains about an hour outside of Malaga, Lovely little town. Hotel is very comfortable, family is very welcoming. Parking is an issue as this is a traditional Spanish small town with very narrow streets. Drop off bags at the door and then park ~1/2 mile away and walk back. Restaurant in the hotel is very good. Wine/bar also. Off the beaten track but very nice.

Great Little Hotel deserves at least 3 stars
This Hotel should get more than a one star. I would say at least a 3 star. It was very conveniently located. The room was very comfortable and charming. And it was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it if you are staying in Grenada. Took the free walking tour offered which was awesome. Staff very friendly/helpful.

Hidden gem-well worth trying!
Stylish small hotel in centre of Torrox. Bedrooms are light, well designed and very thoughtfully equipped(with extras such as an i-Pod docking station available). Dining on the terrace a real pleasure-great views and excellent food(Karen's Prawns Pil-Pil outstanding!). Neil is an engaging and welcoming host. Highly recommended and we will return soon!

The Friendliest Hotel in Spain
Sarah, Neil and Karen make a stay at La Casa something very special. The generous use of their time and recommendations greatly enhanced our stay in Torrox and meant we went to places we might not otherwise have thought of. The cleanliness and decor of the hotel was superb and the cooking really excellent. I really recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel as though they are away on holiday but still have all the comforts of home at the same time.

道路側の部屋だったので、ずっと居たいとは思えなかった
山側の部屋だと景色が見られるが、道路側の部屋だと全くつまらない。朝食のメインはシリアル。頼めば卵料理やパンも。水回りは悪くなかった。広い屋根上のテラスがあるので、天気が良ければ、気持ち良いのでは。

Sehr sehr nettes Familienhotel. Kleine Zimmer aber alles sehr liebevoll gemacht. Restaurant hatte bei uns Mitte Oktober leider zu. Zufahrt mit Auto (wir hatten schwere Koffer und Baby samt Zubehör) recht beschwerlich über sehr enge Einbahn-Gasse, Parkplatz 500m entfernt.

Estuvimos alojados solo una noche, pero nos hubiesemos quedado mucho más. Las instalaciones estan muy cuidadas, limpias y agradables. El personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Disponen de una terraza con unas vistas increibles donde poder descansar, tomar una copa o cenar si se encarga con tiempo. El desayuno espectacular, muy completo y variado. Un lugar sin dudas aconsejable

Vi føyer oss inn i rekken...
Fant dette hotellet på søk etter en overnatting i forkant av leie av hus for et lengre opphold. Det er sjelden man ser så samstemte og udelt positive vurderinger av overnattingssteder som tilfellet er for La Casa. Vi føyer oss inn i rekken av fornøyde gjester, og kan varmt anbefale dette unike hotellet som vi gjerne vender tilbake til.

Veldig bra opphold på hyggelig hotell midt i Torrox gamleby. Nært lokale småbutikker og samlingsplass på torget med restauranter og uteservering. Anbefales for dere som vil oppleve noe av det opprinnelige Spania utenfor turiststedene.

Justo en el centro del pueblo
El trato encantador, cercano, educado. Te sientes como en "casa". Limpieza extrema y mobiliario nuevo con decoración que te hace sentir bien. A 50 metros de la plaza con interesantes restaurantes con relacion calidad precio impresionantes. Ha sido una gran sorpresa teniendo en cuenta el precio. Muy buenas vistas al valle. Volveré.

wir haben nicht all zu hohe Erwartungen gehabt, um so mehr waren wir mehr als positiv überrascht, was wir zu sehen und spüren bekamen.... saubere, helle Zimmer mit atemberaubenden Ausblick, super guten Service, individuelle Wünsche wurden erfüllt, gutes Essen, guter Wein ;-) Parkplätze sind etwas weiter entfernt, aber alles machbar.... Schade, dass das Hotel nicht so ganz einfach ist zu finden (enge Einbahnstraßen und Gassen), aber überall sind freundliche Einwohner, die einem gern den Weg weisen von uns gibt es volle Punktzahl und natürlich eine klare Weiterempfehlung für dieses kleine aber feine Hotel.... wir kommen gern wieder

Dette er hotellet for deg som vi ha følelsen av å være i det ekte spania og samtidig ha kort vei til fantastiske strender! Hotellet i seg selv er veldig bra, det er kun 9 rom, og personalet er utrolig vennlige. Hotellet har også en restaurant som serverer billig og god mat. Anbefales sterkt!
