We arrived around 6pm and had a reservation for 2 rooms and requested two rooms close to each other. Upon check-in, the agent could not find our reservation. After a few minutes, we had it sorted out. The agent was very friendly throughout the process. However, I didn’t like that she said our room numbers out loud so many times for people behind us in line to hear. Maybe that’s cultural, but for safety room numbers are generally not said out loud (especially numerous times!) in the US. You will need to park on the street opposite the hotel entrance when checking in and need a room key to enter the garage. There was plenty of parking so I wasn’t worried about damage to my rental car. The rooms were a comfortable size. Of the four mattresses in 2 rooms, one was looking like it needed to be replaced. The others were comfortable. The rooms were clean. There were enough outlets near the bed to charge our electronics. They had a mini-fridge which we could store a few things in. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of hot water. The wifi was also fast. We also enjoyed making this our base for the quick walk to Gibraltar. Another complaint is that the climate control did not put out cold air in either of our rooms. The lowest setting was 22.5C. It was unusually warm so we were forced to open our doors. That meant we heard the noise from the street below (wasn’t too bad overnight), and the 2nd hand smoke from nearby rooms and mosquitoes came in our rooms.
