"Position good overlooking the promenade. Room and common areas were clean and functional. It felt a little basic with plastic cups and mugs . The bed was much too hard and curtains did not pull well or block out the morning light. The staff at breakfast were very helpful and would do anything for us which we really appreciated. Our feeling was the room lacked comfort."

"Great location, beautiful park across the street and the sea one block away. Breakfast that was included was lovely with a wide selection of choices. The staff was friendly and professional. My only complaint: We were in Room 103 - a corner room, which had a very bad sewer smell coming up through the pipes in the bathroom. We were told that it was because it was a very old building and that running the water would help to alleviate the smell - but it persisted. And since we were on the first floor in a very busy neighborhood - we could not open the windows at night because it was very loud. Otherwise...a lovely stay."

"Very nice shopping area very close to hotel. Lots of options for restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was fantastic. And the sunset on the Mediterranean was spectacular. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel."

"The hotel, staff, breakfast, bathroom and bedroom were all very good. The poor rating is because it's impossible to get a decent sleep! The stairs up to my room and a cluster of other rooms are made of wood, so when one group of guests came home at 1:05am, I'm woken up just by their footsteps clomping and echoing on the wooden stairs. Then at 3:41am, a family leaves early for the airport, so I'm re-awoken, again by the stairs. No one was rude or yelling or drunk. The design makes it inevitable that anyone walking up or down these stairs will wake the people in those 4 rooms. And ironically I had specifically asked for the "quietest room possible" as I'm no partier. The fact they haven't fixed this terrible design and didn't bother to find me a better room given my request is very disappointing. "

"The location was perfect, the room excellent, the breakfast lady was fabulous, made me feel special. The host was extremely helpful with recommendations on activities, helping with the doors/elevator, ensuring we understood all the things - would definitely recommend and go back!"
