"The room was excellent for all four of us. It was our first trip to Cornwall with our son and 6 year old granddaughter. Our hosts Fiona and James made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed the full English breakfasts. The location was wonderful with open fields at the rear of the property and on occasion spotting a cow or two. It’s also only a 5 minute drive to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and highly recommend it to fellow holiday travelers."

"It's location must be it's selling point. Lovely seaviews & sunset watching point. Great to hear the waves from our room. Burger meal in restaurant and breakfast roll good. Easy, available car parking on site. Pleasant staff. Definitely not a 4*, more like a nice 3*. Such a shame re the tatty paintwork from room doorways and corridors to include outside. Looks a bit tired in places generally. Tiny room, tiny shower. Mattress, work boots, empty cardboard box all left in the corridor outside...

"The Lodge itself was beautiful and comfortable ideal for a family or couple with a dog, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, and so spacious!... the views of Milbrook and Plymouth from Lodge 23 are astounding. A great place to relax. Although pet friendly, I think if you own just one, well behaved dog he or she should be allowed off-lead and monitored closely...but it's a no, I understand why, but my dog is a registered working dog and it was her holiday too. Maybe a dog area should be considered...
