Such a lovely, quiet place to stay,! Located in a beautiful neighborhood with respectful family and neighbors, and green parks and lakes. Has a shared ktichen for cooking and fridge to store our stuff, as well as basic amenities. Owners are so easy to deal with; Daniel is very easy to reach by text or call, helps with questions and works to accommodate guests. I definitely recommend to have a car, as it's about 35 min from Toronto downtown (and longer with traffic). Perfect for those looking for a peaceful stay away from the hustle of the city or if in transition to their new home in Toronto as was in my case. Highly recommend :)
The room was clean, tidy, and very quiet. Room B faces the backyard, which is good! The shared bathroom was clean and convenient to use, and the shared kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed. The location is excellent and convenient. Parking spot is convenient as well. Overall, it’s a great place to stay.
The best stay I must say. Nice cool fridge. Nice personal room with absolutely stunning curtains. TV in front of Bed. Beautiful farm. Fresh morning dew air. 10/10
No real complaints. It was very clean and quite convenient. The shared bathroom was no problem as it’s not overcrowded and I never ran into anybody else. The only thing is that the outside seems to be under construction and there are a couple of loose bricks on the way down the pathway to the entrance of this place so watch your step. But that was at the time of this review. I’m sure it’ll be finished up in the near future.
it was worth the price, quiet, and mostly clean. kitchen was clean, bathroom was clean and then wasn't at one point, but that's cuz it's shared, so what do you expect, really? Other than that, there was things in the shower like shampoo and body wash, to use, and the bathroom was available, every time I needed it, so that was cool. Also, they had laundry on the same floor, which was awesome. Not to mention, the road cruise, in the area, as I was unfamiliar with, was fun to explore, being north of Toronto, not in the busy, gridlock of the actual city, of Toronto just north of it, was pleasant, and the grocery store, Farm Boy, was quite awesome, with lots of items there, that I've never seen before, and arrangements of foods. Just around the corner are a few paths for walking around, in a very nice, scenic area, park at the end of the street of residence, and an outside patio, at the entrance, in the backyard. Their Wi-Fi had good connection, I was able to play Mario Kart Deluxe 8, online, no problem. Also, there are Pokéstops nearby, including one accessible at the house of stay, as well, which is kind of cool; unless, of course, it annoys your girlfriend, in which case, not so cool. But, oh well, life...LOL Overall, a great stay!
A nice space to stay, I will say the paver stones on the path down to the door nearly took me and my cane out because quite a few of them were loose, not super accessible at all but it’s not really marketed as such so it is what it is. The AC was either off or not low enough the entire time we were there I was sweating buckets, with no way to change it that I could find. I also just run very hot so that may be a me problem. The property itself was nice, and the shower was fantastic. I’ll dream of that rainfall shower head lol. The flowers in the yard were beautiful and the property was very clean. The individual code locks on the different rooms definitely made the place feel safe and secure. Nice TV in the room. Owner was responsive and helpful with an issue we had. The area is beautiful and there’s a park literally at the end of the street as well as a nature trail. Definitely would stay here again.
Great stay at this place. The location was perfect for getting around an the is a nature preserve right across the street, its a nice walk! Room was clean, people (other guests) were super friendly, an over all great experience.
There room was fine, but I never met the owners, little communication and I wasn't comfortable with not choosing my own code for my room door. Was suddenly aware that "they" had my code bur i didnt know who "they" were. Security is important. Having a peep hole in my door and fire safety items would have been helpful too.
