"We stayed for two nights and three days at this location. The location in itself was amazing but we had issues with AC in the room. The temperature remained at 77° and was very hot throughout the night. We called in at the front desk at the middle of the night, we did have a visit from one of their staffs, at 12:30 at night but couldn’t figured out the AC situation. We left the bathroom window open and tried our best to lower the room temperature. AC was set to 61° but overall temperature of the room didn’t drop lower than 76° all night. In addition our room got cleaned next day but coffee cups and coffee pods were not available for the second morning of the stay. Before we checked out, we let the front desk staff know about all those issues but haven’t heard anything back. Great location for stay but AC is not working, room amenities not being restocked/available, and not hearing from the management team after providing feedback, I would have to rethink before I recommend someone to stay here."

"Hotel location is perfect, room was very clean, above average bedding & towels, comfortable bed. On site parking limited but accessed a spot each night. Breakfast continental, yet plenty. Coffee very good. Attendant in breakfast room was helpful & pleasant. "

"Right from check in, the front desk person was odd and standoffish. Our room had zero view, hard wood floors with sand on it... There was a poor patch job done to the shower bottom that appears water damaged. We could not use the pool or hot tub apon arrival due to an unexpected music event??? Last but not least ..there was non boutique amenities in the room reminiscent of motel 6....WE HAD NO AIR CONDITIONING IN OUR ROOM..aaaand the location of our room was right next to a main entrance and we could hear all the doors slamming and rude loud guests. Sure, there is many shopping and dining experiences near by and the beaches are lovely nearby...but this review is NOT about Carmel and its value now is it??? "

"A lovely home, well equipped for entertaining a group. Open kitchen, plenty of seating and walking distance to the beach. Our family loved it.thank you!"

"Reasonable rate in Carmel area but the room has old smell and you can hear your neighbors talking, flushing, and walking. Couldn’t sleep. "

"Love this place, just 2 minutes from the beach and a 25-minute walk to downtown Carmel. The staff are first class, with George in particular standing out. Our room was upgraded upon arrival and was beautifully decorated. The complimentary mini bar and snacks were a lovely surprise, and the breakfast was delicious. "

"Pet friendly but charge $50 per night, which seems silly. Older cottages, common in Carmel, but some of the furniture in the rooms need updating- stains on rugs, tears on fabrics. Tree sap on outdoor chairs. Biggest issue is that in a room for 4 people - 2 get a converted leather couch that flattens to a full, not a queen but a full-size. And then there's nowhere to put your suitcases. Staff only offered a room upgrade for second night, but we were settled and unpacked and leaving the next day so that wasn't a good solution. They didn't offer any other solutions. "
