Basically all the negative comments that I've read from other booing website i didn't experience it. I think the owner do take customer review quite seriously,and adjusted accordingly. Note that it is about 7 minutes walk to Oku station, and 15 minutes to Tabata station,so if you dont like walking or you can walk that far then this wont be the place for you, but my family and I walk everywhere Basically, we walk all the time, so this is not an issue for us. And you do have to bring your garage downstairs once when its full, but we dont mind doing that too, its basically like a apartment more than a hotel. I booked the apartment that can sleep 6 for my family of 4 and we had enough space to fit us comfortably. The apartment was clean, high ceilings and spacious bathroom. In room washing machine. Very close to Oku Station, local restaurants, 7 Eleven, McDonald's etc. It was a very quiet neighborhood which we liked. Front desk staff were friendly and went over the house rules with us. Pay attention to towel services and garbage sorting. Easy check in and check out. The JR station is only a stop away from Ueno, and two stops away from Tokyo! Apartment is slightly far from the station after a day of walking and shopping, especially you are carrying so many things. There was renovation nearby which is the minus point. Receptionist was nice. Able store luggage before check in time. Luggages were in the room before we came back to check in. Pretty awesome. Apartment is big. Minus point is the microwave is spoilt. We didn’t notify the receptionist because I just get the convenient store staff to heat up my things for me. Thankful to have washing machine. Overall I would recommend this place is you dont have kids. Because walking from station to apartment or vice versa is a little long(it says 5-6 min but depends on your walking speed). If you don’t mind the walk, it is really a spacious place! How I would like it to be a hotel with daily cleaning service.
