Loved the hot spring and sauna available to you when you stay!! Also very close to the temple in asakusa! Will definitely return when im looking to stay in the area!
Great place to stay if you’re looking for a hostel that is close by to Senso-ji temple and surrounding attractions! Clean and affordable, plus the staff are very kind and polite.
I had a great experience at this hostel + hotel, as a solo traveller. Great location, building is well kept and staff are very nice. I only docked one star as they don't have luggage storing facilities post check out (due to storage space). I can understand but it can also make it challenging to lug storage or find storage lockers to accommodate post check out. They have a female only public bath which was a cool experience. Overall great experience and definitely recommend and return. Thank you!
Very clean. Staff very friendly. Very quiet. Easy to navigate and great location within Asakusa. Would stay here again!
FYI to those that aren't used to Japan customs, you will share a communal bath with other guests, so it may be unnerving the first time. However, most people will attempt to keep to themselves, so you just need to immerse yourself in the culture.
This place is amazing if your looking for a convenient and clean hostel to stay near Senso-ji temple. The staff was amazing and the stay was great for the price. Will be using this hostel again in the future and recommend it for travelers on a budget! The only downside is the public bath which offers zero privacy. But that is to be expected with a in house onsen.
The location is super convenient if you're visiting the Asakusa area. Most of the staff are fantastic and incredibly helpful—except for one. Hopefully, you won’t need assistance while he’s on shift!
This place is perfect for visiting Tokyo (solo backpacker perspective). The location is super convenient, staff is helpful and friendly and the amenities are great (great bathroom, hairdryer, towels, microwave, kettle, locker - though bigger ones could be made available in the dormitory). You can leave your luggage at the place before/after check-in to move freely in the city. Noise is part of staying in hostel but as a light sleeper I would say it was alright.
Overall, great experience !
Location is excellent. Supermarket around the corner. Foot steps to the chaos of Asakusa without the busy streets (it’s nice a quiet back street). The train station is just a couple interactions away. Having an onsen is such a bonus. But note, there are no other showers besides inside the onsen. Not a bad thing, just be aware.
The cons: zero sound proofing, especially if you’re top bunk because you have no real ceiling - it’s all open and you can hear every zipper, every curtain open and closing, every plastic bag crinkling. Even the clothes hangers they give are metal (good for quality) but they clang. There’s also only 1 plug and it’s used for to lamp they give you.
This place is ok for the most part. Biggest issue was staff coming into dorm room one evening at 2am to sort bottles (clanging, rustling, etc) - he had to have woken the whole room. Shower/bath room needs a good clean, also wood around bath is turning spotted black. Rules for luggage rack not enforced, it was filled with garbage, food, and hanging towels. Prices varied greatly depending on the day, it can be a deal or not so much.
