By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. Staff were all very friendly. If I had any complaints it is that they still allow smoking in the hallways and it seeps into the rooms. It’s a smell that honestly stays on all your clothes and lingers forever. Otherwise the rooms were very clean and the staff were very accommodating. The location is also in a great spot. First of all, so thankful for their amazing staff! They were able to store some of our luggages for two nights as we would be away to Osaka, even if we weren’t checked in as guests yet. When we came back for check in, our luggages was already in our room and one of the staff was nice enough to guide us to our room. All of the staff we met there were so kind and welcoming, most spoke English too. The room was so big, clean and spacious! This room literally had everything especially their toiletries, had a sauna, tv in the shower/bath tub, mood lights, adjustable lighting, karaoke, housekeeping daily and more. On our last day, our flight was not until evening and they were able to store our luggages again while we walked around Shinjuku. We enjoyed our stay and had a great experience. We did not stay and had to purchase new rooms. This was a hotel for prostitution and offered at an hourly rate. The manager and staff was behind smoked glass so we never saw their face. We asked to see the room which they gave us keys but never turned on lights. We were very scared. I Upon my return home we will be seeking a full refund. I will be aggressively pursuing this for the reason that some young people could also have been tricked into this listing, possibly not having the money to purchase other accommodations putting them at great risk. Extremely disappointed that this is an offering for vacation website such as Expedia. I will be warning others of our experience on all of our socials. The impact on us financially and emotionally was huge for our trip experience. I will be seeking advice on how to pursue a full refund. ![This is hourly rates.
