This idyllic village is situated on a sunny high plateau in the southern Black Forest, surrounded by dense forests, clear streams, and vast meadows. Numerous hiking trails begin right outside the holiday rental’s front door, leading to scenic ridges, rustic huts, and impressive natural sites. Particularly popular are hikes to the Feldberg, the highest mountain in the Black Forest, as well as to the nearby Belchen or the Todtnau Waterfall, one of Germany’s highest natural waterfalls.
In winter, Todtnauberg transforms into a small but charming winter sports destination. Skiers and snowboarders will find several lifts and well-groomed slopes here, while cross-country skiers and snowshoers can enjoy the peaceful trails through the snow-covered landscape. There are also suitable slopes and tobogganing opportunities for families with children.
