"The property was beautiful with plenty of space at the various pools, area to walk around. The staff were friendly and helpful The food and cocktails were excellent. The room amenities were very good. The bathroom was acceptable, small but functional. My only complaint is there was not very good sound proofing, of no fault of the hotel- I could hear the occupants next to me who were loud between the hours of midnight and 5am including having their TV on loud. When there is a concert on at the hotel you will hear it in your room, which can be a nice benefit. Overall I would stay again and enjoyed my experience outside of difficulty sleeping."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful four nights on Balboa Island. The cottage had all the charm we were hoping for, and the location was perfect. Easy access to downtown Balboa Island and the ferry if you want to go to the peninsula. We did it all!We used the four bikes that were provided and brought our own along, so we biked everywhere. We parked the cars and didn't use them during our stay.There was plenty of seating for everyone in the family room, and having four full bathrooms was a huge plus. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. :)"

"Check-in was really simple. This is a 2nd floor unit and the view is great, can confirm ocean-view looks great no matter time of day. Stayed with a group of 6 and could easily sleep 10 depending on the makeup of your group/folks who will share beds. Water pressure is among the best of any place I've stayed. Extremely easy beach access. Laundry is coin operated and machines are in good shape and worked well"

"We had a great stay, the house easily accommodated our family with so many rooms and each having its own bathroom is a real plus. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need, and the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and linens, lots of space to hang out, and parking for 5 cars is a real plus! The property does need some maintenance and updating though and would benefit from new outdoor seating suctions as we do spend a lot of time there."
