"Cute little place. We love staying here and people watching from the front porch!! As do my dogs, so nice that it is dog friendly. We used the new bbq for a couple of dinners, but also enjoyed walking to dinner on the island. Very relaxing"

"We’ve been staying at this cottage every summer for about 15 years. We love the peaceful, relaxing front patio with the pretty rose bushes. It’s perfect for eating meals, reading, drinking morning coffee and hanging out. The location of 216 Onyx is perfect. The Main Street (Marine) with all the restaurants and shops is one street over. Literally go out the back door and cross the alley and you’re on it. In addition, the cottage is equi- distant to either N. Bayfront or S. Bayfront so you can go to either one. Kari, the owner is super nice and takes very good care of the property. We highly recommend a vacation here."

"We’ve been staying at this same property for the past five years, and it never disappoints! The property manager, Scott Carpenter, is always great with communication and makes sure everything is just as expected. He even let us know ahead of time that we could check in early, which was a great bonus. We’re already looking forward to our stay next year! Thanks again, Scott, for another great experience!"

"Great location. Beds and linens great quality. Appreciated having AC especially due to heat wave during our stay. Communications were excellent. This is an older property reflecting its age with some quirks (eg master bath). Pictures need to be updated (eg living room shows furniture and rugs not there anymore) and not filtered to be more accurate."

"The property overall was great for our family vacation. You can't beat the proximity to the beach, restaurants, and unbelievable views. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of space. Communication with the host after arrival was excellent as we always received responses and solutions quickly. However, a few things to note given the how costly the property was:-The photos online made the space appear more modern but it was fairly outdated (bathrooms, carpet, non sturdy staircase, no AC, old/uncomfortable indoor/patio furniture, mirrors on ceilings)-Upon arrival, there was a consistent ant problem in the kitchen that never subsided. -Prior to check in, we inquired if the house came with generic beach equipment given it's a beach house and we're told that it did not so to bring what we anticipated wanting/ needing. We ended up having to take multiple vehicles packing beach chairs, towels, toys, umbrellas, portable crib and more. Come to find the property did in fact have almost everything we inquired about/ packed which was frustrating as we could have all fit in one car and wouldn't have had to buy/ pack half of the amount that what we did. -After 4 days into our trip, we realized there was a patio umbrella in the garage that was meant for backyard. It was too heavy for any of us to move so we weren't able to use it which was disappointing as there was no shade once it hit around 11am. - hot tub did not work / was not accessible."
