"Rooms were clean but very small. Website says sleeps 3 but only 1 bed and no couch or pop up bed. Was disappointed when we saw the room."

"Patio room was more expensive but stuck in a back alley corner that looked old and run down. No view at all from patio, which is fine, but don’t charge more. Room smelled like bug spray or some kind of pesticide. We had to spray with room spray constantly. Area all around pool just walking near it smelled like vomit. Weird and very unappealing. Overall, the rooms were underwhelming for the price. Lobby and bar area was really nice."

"I am so grateful we found this property. I rented it for my mom while she was visiting me after recently moving out of state and missing Newport Beach. Balboa Island was the perfect location for her because everything is so walkable and there is always something to do. Since she didn’t have a car, it could not have worked out better. The cottage itself was absolutely adorable, charming, spotless, and incredibly well-kept. It was close enough to Main Street to easily enjoy everything, yet far enough away to feel peaceful and quiet. The fenced in property also gave it a very private, cozy feel that made it feel like home right away. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there was plenty of seating when our family came over for dinner. Check-in and check-out were both seamless, and Scott went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like a handwritten card, a bottle of wine, and water bottles waiting for us upon arrival. My mom loved her stay so much that we extended it for another night! I highly recommend iTrip and this beautiful property. I already know I’ll be renting this cottage every time my mom comes to visit. On top of everything else, the price is incredible for what you get!"

"Room is dirty a suit , no hot water, the stay is terrible. There wasn’t even a bar of or anything in my room. There’s no hot water at all. The elevators are out of code, and and my hand got suck in the elevator for 3 floors. The emergency button on the elevator didn’t work. So I finally was able to get out on the first floor. I went to the front desk, and asked for an ice pack for my injured hand and they said that we have no ice, and we can’t help you."

"We loved the location of this home. We enjoyed restaurants, wonderful shops only two blocks away and our walks around the island each morning. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The living spaces were very comfortable."
