"Lovely location very near the beach and within a 20-30 minute walk into the main city centre, pier etc. The room itself was clean, a little compact with two beds but plenty of space for luggage etc. nice to have a sink in the room and the toilets/bathrooms were on multiple floors. Generally clean and tidy although several times we went to the bathrooms with blocked toilets and/or no toilet paper which wasn’t great. "The hotel was lovely and was in a great location. Breakfast and dinner was nice. One slight issue was my room was left open by a cleaner who did not return with the towels they were supposed to, so I had I not returned to my room, the door would have been left open. I told a member of reception staff who said a manager would call me but never received the call at all. So I would not advise leaving any valuables in the room unattended. Anyone could have literally walked into my room and helped themselves. Other than this mishap, my stay was very nice… and the swimming pool, sauna and steam room was an excellent treat."

Maldron Hotel Brighton City Centre

"Still happy with this hotel (4th stay) but be aware the reduced parking rate has been removed due to NCP carpark going into administration although the info is still on the welcome email. Front desk advised if parking in Churchill Square carpark we could only be charged for 24hrs but sadly this is not the case so parking cost us £64. Would have to factor this in if we were to choose the Maldron again."

"We had a perfectly pleasant, standard stay at the Queens Hotel; the rooms were clean and absolutely fine. The only slight disappointment was regarding flexibility around timing. I had requested a simple one-hour late checkout for genuine reasons and was promptly charged a £20 fee. While I completely understand and respect hotel policies, it did feel a bit rigid especially since, I stay at the Queens hotel at least one to two times every year and there have been times in the past where my room wasn't even ready for check-in by 4:00 PM, and I've happily waited without making a fuss. It's those small, mutual courtesies that really elevate a guest's experience. That being said, it certainly didn't ruin the trip, and we would still happily visit the hotel again in the future."
