"Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble.
The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed.
Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds."

One of those rare finds that you almost want to keep to yourself so you can always get a room.. :-) We booked only 3 hours before our 2 night stay so options were limited and we were a bit worried we'd be left with what no-one else wanted. It turned out fantastically though. The Motel is brand new, spacious, clean, warm, and the TV had all the usual smart apps so we could watch practically whatever we wanted. We had dinner and breakfast in the almost attached George and Dragon pub and although...

Very friendly staff , gorgeous room with huge comfy bed! Mineral water ,luxury soap etc and hot chocolate for the kids!! Lovely breakfast and wonderful service ! The best thing was our little dog was welcome too in the hotel and the pub. Great location as it makes a nice stop when visiting center parcs especially if your bringing your doggy friend ! Booked for one night to attend a family wedding, check in via the bar, lady came straight out and explained that all the rooms were full, so as we were a family had upgraded us to Hannah House, a complete massive cottage to the three of us, It was beautiful and we could have slept 11 people in it, so rustic and full of charm lovely and peacefully we were so impressed. Complimentary breakfast was included with our booking, a fully English using locally sources ingredients, the chef who also took...

I was looking for a one night stay close to Diss for the 2017 Organ Festival. I searched on proximity and price and Hazel Barn met my requirements. For a bed and breakfast Hazel Barn far exceeded my expectations. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast provided was absolutely superb. Nice room with en-suite and access to a fridge in communal kitchen area serving the 3 guest suites. It is nice to have fresh milk for your early morning tea rather than the long life little pots...

The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while.
The room was really clean with a Nespresso coffee machine which for me was a really nice touch as I love my coffee.
The shower was lovely and hot.
I will definitely be booking there again and I can not recommend it enough.
Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere.
I was solo travelling and the staff were more than happy to chat while I enjoyed my drink at the bar.
I didn't have the breakfast as...
