"This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Very old school James Bond feel. The best is that it is its own private beach. Worth everything! The other beach has private areas but it is full of other hotels from above and the public. Not so nice."

"The location is beautiful!! The pool is so clean and the view is just gorgeous. Many options during the morning breakfast. However, there were many ants in the room, but I’m just assuming it’s because of the humidity and heat; not much you can do about that."

"This hotel is magical. Right on the beach with plenty of beds and helpful lifeguards. Even though hotel is dated and belongs to another era, its beautify lies in its antiquity. I wish I could have stayed more days to enjoy breakfast on patio under ancient trees and unobstructed view of the sea. The service was incredible all around and rooms were squeaky clean. Beds comfortable and linen soft."

"This hotel is situated just on the edge of the main city on an unbelievably beautiful cliff in Taormina overlooking the beaches and bays below. Really breathtaking views - highly recommend splurging for the balcony. The pool was also very pretty, though we did not end up eating or drinking poolside. The bedrooms/bathrooms were pretty basic, but clean. Breakfast was not included, but at 22 euro, we did not partake. ***The one thing to note - the entrance to the hotel is at the bottom of an incredibly steep, roughly 250 foot-long hill. I'm talking 30-40 degree incline. There are stairs in the center of the road, but it's a hike. Like, we were out of breath every time we left the hotel. I couldn't recommend this hotel to anybody with mobility issues that is not planning on being driven from the hotel entrance every time they travel.*** But the views are unbeatable."
