Thank you for writing and telling everyone of your good experience.This guest was kind enough to let us know while they were here about the shower floor retaining a little water because it was not properly slanted for all the water to immediately drain. We will deal with that when the season is over - requires removal and replacement of the floor tiles.We think that the water pressure problem was solved when we found that a worker's foot hit a water valve and caused the valve to be half-way to the 'off' position. No further complaints.

Yes, we have stairs because we are built on a hillside, and that is how we get to the beautiful ocean view rooms with their own private pools.We are, in fact, very close to town but far enough outside the noise zone that our mornings are only interrupted by birds, which is as Costa Rica should be.

And there is more positive to speak about, but the issue of the sheets gets our attention.I checked to see if maybe the room this guest had for a single night had gone empty for a time before she used it. Nope. We had a steady stream of guests so that room should have had fresh sheets and pillow cases. Our cleaning staff is trained to give the smell test to our linens and the rooms themselves, but obviously there was something unpleasant for this guest.We have just gone through a couple months or more with the high humidity for this time of the year. That is ending now. But we do not have a story of a resolution to this guests' complaint, just us saying we are aware and checking as we normally do, but hopefully better.Marta, we are sorry that this was a negative for you.

Hi, David, thanks for your comments and suggestions. We'll consider them - particularly the bacon and sausages - my favorites.There is a laundry service in town and not far from us. We regularly take guest laundry to that service, or call them to pick up and deliver the freshly laundered and wrapped items. The cost is reasonable for that service. Our problem here is that we are smaller than we look, and we have not identified a space where we might locate a do-it-yourself laundry here. But we might be able to fit one in.Again, good to have you as a guest and hope to see you again.
