"Stayed here a few years ago. This time around apart from the cafe, the villas are barely maintained especially the exterior roofs, walls and ceilings. "
"Awesome location to enjoy the Saturday & Sunday Gaya Market. Comfortable with basic facilities. Highly recommend if you're planning to explore the nearby area."
"Hotel could arrange complementary airport transfer both ways even late evening (after midnight) and early morning (at 03:00 am). It was very convenient for me to move."

"Spacious clean rooms. Friendly staff. Incredible food. Excellent location- walking distance to the food markets, Sunday markets, the ferry port and malls. Special mention again to all staff there- extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great stay, thank you!"
"The Shangti-La is just a step up from other hotels. Yes, it's big and busy but the staff go out of their way to really spoil you. I'm vegan and they bent over backwards to ensure I had a great breakfast, sent soy milk to my room tweaked dishes so I ate well. And the location - oh my. We stayed in a garden room and could walk straight out looking at the sea. Room had a shower and a bath, was well stocked. Water in the fridge every day. Their Spa was great too. I can't think of anything bad about the place. We just didn't want to leave. "
