I knew I was booking a period hotel, but it s literally like stepping back in a magical time. The hotel is a pearl only comparable to those chateaus or castles in Europe. All details are there, from the spa to the concierge. If you like period hotels, this souls be your choice.

Beautiful hotel with an extraordinary view either of the sea or the city. The roof top pool is a must see with panoramic views of Istanbul and also higher then the tourist attractions, ie the Galata tower where you queue and are charged for taking photos. After staying our first few nights in a not so bad BnB the services where amazing.
overall this hotel is great for tourists since everywhere is reachable from taksim square its 2 min walk from taksim however the first floor rooms are not comfortable because u can hear ppl talking and walking early the higher floors are better everything else was cosy so yeah ill visitnthe place again but not the first floor

"Nice hotel with classical style, excellent location"
Near to Taqsim square with less than one minute of walk. Hotel interiors are classical design. Rooms are excellent. You need to keep in mind that almost all hotels near Taksim area have small rooms and thus small beds. The bed width was small how ever the furniture generally are good.
We had BB, and the breakfast was simple buffet however good relatively (again it appears that most Taqsim hotels have simple and limited items in the breakfast).
The hotel has nice restaurant. The Gym is very simple and very small with compacted ceiling (my guess it is 240 CM in length). 3 treadmills, 1 machine that has almost all body training parts. Fair enough but not amazing.
Will I go for it again? Most probably yes expect that if I go to Taksim area again I would try other hotel for the sake of not repeating my old options. I recommend people go there.
The location is excellent as it is very near to Taksim square (thus the metro station) and Istiklal street. So in case you do a lot of shopping you will like its location.
The Beyoglu-Taksim district is on the European side of Istanbul, across the Golden Horn from the historic city centre. “Beyoglu” generally refers to the area in Taksim between Taksim Square and the Tunel (subway). The district has traditionally been the most European quarter of Istanbul, with many consulates and embassies. It remains famous for its arts, entertainment, and nightlife.
