The room was clean and spacious! The bed was comfortable! The breakfast was amazingly good with lots of varieties! The staff were nice and friendly! The service of storing luggage was very helpful to us so we could travel around with ease! The shuttle service to and from the Taipei Metro was convenient!

The Grand Hotel is so fabulous and spectacular in its design of the building! The staff are very helpful and friendly! The room is clean and comfortable! The breakfast is so amazing with all kinds of varieties and so tasty! The service of storing our luggage is very convenient for us! We will be back for another night stay before we head out to our next trip.
Grand old hotel, but I thought the room was a bit dated and decor needed to be freshened up. Staff was friendly.
Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of choices, all at a reasonable price.
Friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is a bit expensive but average - scrambled eggs and bacon (not crispy) almost cold. No omelette service. Free shuttle service tothe MRT station is convenient.
The room was stunning! Food was delicious, staff was everything you’d want from helping with check-in, assisting with getting around the property, to finding events and activities around the city. Shuttles from the property led conveniently to good offsite locations. Truly no better choice for places to stay.
We're so glad to have stayed in this historic, magnificent hotel. It's in great shape, the restaurants are great - Yuan Yuan and the on on the second floor with the great views. The basement bar is cool, and you should see the escape tunnel, very neat. Glad we didn't stay at some boring modern, soulless hotel.
Staying at the Grand felt like checking into a piece of Taiwan's history. The palace architecture, the red columns, and the dragon details are even more striking in person, and the building's past as a place for visiting heads of state is still part of the experience. I spent as much time exploring the halls and learning the backstory as I did in my room, and the hidden escape tunnels were a highlight. Few hotels give you a sense of place like this one. I'd stay again.
In general this hotel has covered all my expectations! Friendly and helpful staff, spotless every where we were, a full variety of selection of breakfast my room had the best view….
This is a building from 1973, with that in mind, it has been maintained incredibly well! I did enjoy touring the building and the underground tunnel. A very unique hotel experience.
The hotel’s architecture is unique and has many restaurants to choose from. The prestige deluxe room faces the mountain side and quiet while the prestige horizon room faces city and is a little bit noisy. Both rooms are spacious.
