"Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Room was immaculately clean with very new fixtures and fittings. Food was simply amazing both for evening meal and breakfast. Plenty of parking. Ideal location for peace and quiet. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again the next time I am working in the area."

"We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room. It was a building near the pub. Parking was free and able to park outside the pub. Its all situated in a square,like a market square surrounded by big granite hills. "Excellent hotel that ticked all the boxes for our family road trip. The hotel manager went above and beyond for us and made our stay extra special. Our room was perfect and the restaurant bar terrace was fantastic. Will return for an extended visit to explore the surrounding area further."

"Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...
