Charming 38-square-meter studio apartment, sleeping up to 3 people, located on the ground floor of a building facing a quiet pedestrian alley (1 step to enter). The apartment is located in the heart of the island of Ortigia, Syracuse’s historic centre, just a short walk from the waterfront and all the main attractions.

The apartment consists of a living area with a kitchenette, a sleeping area, and a bathroom.

The accommodation consists of:

- LIVING AREA with KITCHENETTE (induction cooktop, folding dining table, refrigerator, moka pot, kettle, dishwasher, and wine glasses) and a queen-size sofa bed;

- SLEEPING AREA (separated from the rest of the apartment) with a double bed, TV, and closet;

- BATHROOM with a raised shower, sink, and toilet.



ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited Wi-Fi, A/C with heat pump (one split unit), iron and ironing board, clothesline, and hair dryer.

Cot and high chair available upon request, subject to availability.



The entire apartment is for the exclusive use of guests during their stay, and there are no shared spaces with the host or other tenants.



7 days before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay, up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night, for up to 7 consecutive nights).

We need this procedure to verify your information and documents and to send the details to the Alloggiati Web police service, which is the Italian system for registering guests staying in Italy.

Turning the air conditioning and heating on and off is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013; Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

Esummer: the average air temperature must not fall below 26°C for all types of buildings.

In winter: the weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The period during which heating may be used and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Syracuse Climate Zone B: 7 hours per day from December 8 to March 23.



Check-in will be via online self-check-in; completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to retrieve the keys and gain access to the apartment.

Keys can be retrieved free of charge via the on-site keybox.

In case of problems, telephone assistance is available until 10:00 PM.



If you’d prefer to have a member of our staff hand you the keys at the apartment, this is possible upon request for an additional fee of:

- From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM: 15.00 euros;

- From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM: 25.00 euros.



The apartment is located near the waterfront of Ortigia, the oldest and most charming part of the city of Syracuse. On the island—connected to the mainland by the Umbertino Bridge—a stroll through the streets allows you to admire centuries of history, splendid palaces, and lively trattorias and cafés. You can visit Maniace Castle, the Arethusa Spring, the ancient Temple of Apollo, and—an absolute must-see—Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular squares in all of Sicily.
