The popular suburb is also a favourite spot to enjoy the city’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display. One of the most popular draws at Milsons Point is Luna Park. This vintage theme park has been here since 1935 and retains many of its original attractions. Enter the fun hall and take a trip down memory lane as you play old-fashioned slot machines and walk by the distorting mirrors. Ride the Ferris wheel for superb views of Sydney Harbour Bridge. Daredevils will enjoy some of the more modern adrenalin rides. Book tickets for a concert at the Big Top, the amusement park's performance venue. Next door to the park is the North Sydney Olympic Pool. Go for a swim in the open-air pool, which is tucked under the bridge and overlooks the harbour.
