"The night I arrived the entry codes worked however, there was someone else in my assigned room. It was late in the evening, and I called the hotel support. Luckily, [and by chance] they were able to get me into another room [which was not what I had reserved]. The light in the bathroom did not work. Maintenance did not come until the third day to fix it. The cleaning staff was extremely kind and helpful because there was no one else there to help. "Great spot to explore the amazing Swiss mountains of the valais! Owner aneliese is very nice and a great host. We loved the quiet traditional Swiss village setting and the amazing views. Would definitely recommend chalet alpenrose! Perfect location to explore zermatt and the matterhorn, the aletsch arena and all the rest of the amazing valais!"
