Managed Ok even in hot weather as a fan provided & bathroom was fab. Would have been nice to be able to open up the rear door for patio breakfast rather than walk around the side but not there long enough to be an issue. "Perfect cottage for our family of 6. Great location with variety of dining and shopping options, perfect amount of space for the family to spread out or all be in one room together. Beautiful garden. The parking is tight for large vehicles but we made it work. The cottage is cute with historic charm and some low ceilings, but we’re all over 6’ tall found the charm worth ducking our heads for. Highly recommend the Dolphin House!"

"Really nice hotel however try not to book a room at the back,we were in 406 really dark and lighting not very good, another downside if you like an ordinary cup of coffee in your room using the kettle they provide coffee bags which didn't taste very nice at all but that was me,other guests may feel differently ,great location 😀"

"I think the hotel lacks AC, and it was very hot during our stay. I believe the fans in the bedrooms were old and not as efficient as we have now become accustomed to. I understand that the disabled car park is available as close as possible, but it is still some distance for those with mobility issues. Enough moaning we enjoyed our stay very much."

"Regular annual visitors to this hotel so knew what to expect. Room was large and clean. Staff we came across were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast room was very well stocked there was a really wide choice from the buffet. River walk of about 15 mins into the city. Very quiet at night on this occasion. Onsite car parking is £25 per day. Check in agent did not ask for payment and when i asked i was told it was included which surprised me as it never used to be. I went back later and challenged them on this again and surprise another check showed it wasn't so an apology was given and £50 was taken. Failure to pay would mean a £100 fine later on so beware of this. Couldn't get a stable picture on any tv channel which was a little frustrating but then we weren't there to watch tv."
