Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Susqueda?
The best time to go to Susqueda is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly mild, with comfortable temperatures for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and exploring the natural beauty of the Susqueda Reservoir and its surroundings. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more peaceful experience. The natural landscapes are also at their most picturesque, with lush greenery in spring and vibrant colours in autumn.

For those who enjoy water sports, the warmer autumn months can still be suitable for activities on the reservoir, though the water temperature will be cooler than in summer. Spring offers the advantage of seeing the local flora in full bloom.

While summer (July and August) brings the warmest temperatures, it can also be very hot, which might be less comfortable for active travellers.
