"We have nothing but good things to say about the Hotel Ciutat de Girona. Firstly, it is perfectly situated just steps away from the iconic iron bridge leading to the Old Town. The entire hotel was spotless, modern, efficient. Staff was helpful. For early risers, it offers a generous breakfast buffet that is available well before most cafes open at 9 a.m. The 15 Euro price may seem high but is in fact comparable to other places in Girona where we ate in the morning. "Clean, well managed hotel not far from Girona old town. We used the bus and taxis (€7) to get into town. Lovely pool and terrace area. Relaxing after a day's sightseeing. Restaurant food was excellent in the evening and good value. Our only criticism of the food is the fried eggs at breakfast which were like plastic."
"Excellent hotel, friendly staff at the front desk and very clean. The hotel felt newly refurbished and the rooftop bar was excellent! Only negative is that the air conditioning felt a little weak as it took a while for the room to cool down. Other than that we had an excellent stay!"
"This stay was for a family of 4 and it was perfect for a one night stay. We visited for Girona for 2 days and this hotel was great for that. The receptionist both were very helpful and gave us a map on places to go for dinner and the site seeing. "

"We've stayed in Girona many times, but this was a first at this hotel, which was lovely. First class facilities, friendly and helpful staff and the added bonus of stunning views over the city. A hill to climb to get there, but no great problem. We also had dinner one night- a set menu for 25 euros, but excellent value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet stay only ten minutes outside the beautiful old town and Barri Vell."
