Great price great value
Big sky Motel is an older facility. It’s a tiny little town set in between mountains. The highway does go right next to it but it set the low it enough that the road noise isn’t much at least on the side we were on. It’s older, but it’s very clean in the front desk. House was very nice. It was perfect for our overnight stay And route to the Oregon coast. It was a great price with great amenities for what we were looking for.

Run Down
Not sure if if it's just our bad luck but we have stayed in 8 different hotels/motels in the past 5 weeks and the quality was very poor. Being some what frugal we have no problem staying in an older hotel to save some money. The problem is that they are very run done and not being maintained. The Big Sky Motel was no different. Stained carpets, paint peeling, caulking deteriorated and black, beds in need of replacement, air conditioner filters dirty, doors damaged, TV out dated and in need of a cleaning, entry hallway filthy, windows dirty, etc., etc., etc. Very disappointing to stay in this place.

I liked that the room had not only a microwave but a full size frig an stove top. And there were laundry facilities. Room was clean, quiet and large.

I was surprised at how quiet my room was and there wasn't much air traffic either. It does not have much "surroundings". It's at the end of a runway, but I never saw or heard any airplanes while I was there. The room was nice, clean satisfactory for my one night. The clock by the bed could not be adjusted. or was broken? On the other hand, the staff could care less. I was disappointed at check-in. They seemed to be disturbed that I was there. Like they had something else to do and I was interrupting them. After check-in, I was in and out of the lobby three times or more and never ever saw a person, even when I dropped my key card off as I was leaving. A smile or pleasant attitude wouldn't hurt to improve the atmosphere. Yes, I know I was just a one-night sleep-over, But for $100 /- for 6 hours of sleep should be shown some appreciation. I get more from Motel 6...

The good thing was the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The property is run down and unkept. Overall not inviting. Breakfast is carb overload. Very overpriced for the condition. I would not choose to stay here again.

Clean, renovated, great for pets!
Big Sky Motel was just an overnight stop on our business travels, but it was wonderful! The room didn't have carpet which we prefer when we travel with our 2 dogs. It has clearly been renevated amd looked great! We would definitely stay at the Big Sky Motel again!

We stayed at this property twice during our travels. Both times the rooms were very clean, linens were plentiful and staff was friendly and nice. Would recommend this stop when anyone is traveling through Montana

I would stay here again. Very clean beds comfortable. They need to put hair dryer in bathroom. Breakfast was mediocre need to put out more variety including yogurt

While the building is an older building, the owners have upgraded the rooms in a number of ways. Was impressed with the clear effort the owners have taken to make the rooms modern.

The hotel is comfortable and clean. My only comment is that the rooms smell incredibly strongly of pine sol, to the point that we had to leave the door open.

Enjoyed staying a night in this motel on our way westward. Easy access off the Interstate. Friendly staff. Clean and quiet, but older rooms. Very clean linens. Super beautiful environment and so enjoyable being able to sit on the chair outside our room door on the balcony and watch the mountain scenery.
