"Good place for a couple, great position in the countryside but not too far from a pub and train station (20 minute walk). However cooking was a challenge: the kitchen is very sparsely equipped, there are 2 mugs, glasses, bowls, a few more plates, but that’s it. Barely any utensils ( unless you like mash, 2 potato mashers), and nothing you could use in the oven. "Nice little cottage with everything we needed for a weeks stay.In a good location for several National Trust properties and other interesting visits. Good local pub nearby although mostly needs booking to eat but food is good."

"This is a great spot to stay! A fantastic cottage of a very high standard in a great location with lots to do whatever your interests. There is also an amazing garden at the property great if you are taking a dog. We definitely plan to return."
