Headington is a great location to explore Oxford, and if you are a fan of Lewis and Tolkien, it is the suburb that they both lived in. Very nice to have a place to park the car while we went in to explore Oxford (in particular Magdalen College)"

I was surprised that breakfast was not included, but probably my fault for not reading the details carefully. However, I eat very little at breakfast and felt that £12.50 was rather too much for my requirements. "

"The sheets and towels supplied were spotless, which is very important, although the public areas were a touch shabby. The help yourself breakfast was very good. Parking was very hit or miss, which could be tricky in a busy and unfamiliar city."

"Quaint stay, friendly staff, family run business. There is construction outside but did not hear it at all at night. The rooms are around the corner from the main office, very close to train station. We stayed on the bottom floor and there was one bathroom to share with one other room stay. The bathroom was newly renovated with a very nice shower. The rooms themselves were a bit outdated, single beds, with a sink, and a window that opens to a cute overgrown garden. I was expecting a busier...

It's important to note that in our experience there was nearly no service: when we were there we did not meet a single staff member. But for us this was fine. We spoke to them by phone, and they were very helpful and flexible with us as we solved some checking-in problems (of our own making, not their fault).
